5K Race / 3K Fun Walk Event Information

NEW FOR 2009:

Last year was such an overwhelming success with 500+ participants, that we will be adding the following services in our 2nd Race / Fun Walk:

RACE ROUTE:

LOCATION:

Downtown St. Joseph, Michigan and along scenic Lake Michigan.

CHECK-IN TIME:

Saturday, September 26th
7:00 — 8:00am at the John E. N. Howard Bandshell

START TIME:

5K Race / Timed Walk begins at 8:30 am;
3K Walk starts at 9:00am.

ONLINE REGISTRATION (Ends on Wednesday 9/23) :

We can't guarentee t-shirts for those who register after August 31st so please consider registering earlier and secure your shirt. We will have it available on Friday, September 25th in downtown St. Joseph (times/placed TBD) or you can pick up your race materials between 7:00-8:00 on race day at the Whitcomb.

• $20 - Age 14 & up
• $10 - Age 13 & under

* Kids 2 and under are free.

PAPER REGISTRATION:

If you have not pre-registered online, you may complete the paper registration form (coming soon) on Friday, September 25th in downtown St. Joseph (times/placed TBD) or you can register on the day of the race between 7:00-8:00 at the Whitcomb.

• $25 - Age 14 & up
• $15 - Age 13 & under

* Kids 2 and under are free.

Note: Registration payments will be waived / refunded for any individual raising $125 or more in pledges or $250 for a family. Pledges may be sent with registration or collected on race day. Prizes for individuals and family’s collecting the most pledges.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

There will be lots of fun family activities following the race including:

• Games & face painting
• Auction & food

TAX RECEIPTS FOR FEES AND PLEDGE COLLECTION:

All race fees and pledges can be collected on race day and tax receipts for eligable donations will be available. If race day pledges meet minimum requirements any prepaid registration fees will be refunded.
