KM 4 Cam 5k Run / Walk and 3k Fun Walk Event
3rd annual Kilometers for Cam 5k Run / Walk and 3k Fun Walk
Saturday, September 25th 2010
Location:
Downtown St. Joseph, Michigan and along scenic Lake Michigan.
Start/finish will be on Elm Street between Lake Street and Lions Park drive, next to the Whirlpool Compass Fountain

Fees:
- Age 14 & up - $20
- Youth (Age 3-13) - $10
- Kids (2 & under) - Free
Charges to your account for this event will appear on your bank statement as "Google * SWM Progeria"
Note: Fees increase by $5 after September 22nd
Packet pickup and walk-up registration will be available on Friday, September 24th in St. Joseph and on the morning of the event. Time and location information will be posted closer to the day of the race.

- 5k run - 8:30am
- 5k competitive walk - 8:35am (follows runners start)
- 3k fun walk - 8:45am

Please plan to join us after the run/walk for additional family fun activities including:
- Live music
- Silent Auction
- Games & Face painting
Awards:
Prizes will be given for the top overall 5k male and female runners
Medals will be given for top male and female 5k runners in the following age groups:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
Medals will also be awarded for the top overall male and female 5k walkers.

We are working to secure special rates and room blocks as we have in past years for our out-of-town supporters.
We will post this information as soon as it is finalized.
Pledging:
We want to make this our biggest year yet for supporting the Progeria Research Foundation and you can help by collecting pledge donations.
After you register for the race – send all of your friends and family the link to the sponsorship page (coming soon).
Either enter a team name when you register or have your sponsors input your name in order to get credit for the sponsorship $$.
Bring any other pledge donations that you collect to the registration table on race day morning.
The team and individual that collect the most sponsorship money will receive prizes during the awards ceremony on race day!

Every dollar you collect matters to support the work done by PRF and their work to find a cure for Progeria!
Tax Receipts:
Tax receipts for donations will be available for all donations collected at both early packet pickup on September 24th as well as race day.
